Dr Olurotimi (‘Tim’) Ojo
Dr Tim Ojo is Consultant Adult Psychiatrist, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych), Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management (FInstLM) and Senior Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership & Management.
Tim is a former Executive Medical Director of the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. His experience spans a period of 25 years in mental healthcare and medical leadership. He was Mental Health Advisor to the South-East Coast Strategic Health Authority between 2009 and 2013 and is currently Associate Registrar for Policy Support at the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK.
Tim holds an MBA from the University of Hull with a specialism in Health Service Management. He has served as a Member of the Clinical Advisory Forum for both Monitor and NHS Improvement (sector regulatory bodies for health services in England), and on the GMC Responsible Officer Reference Group. He has been a qualified Executive Coach since 2008 and is currently Coaching and Mentoring Lead for the Faculty of Medical Leadership & Management (FMLM).
Tim is very well published in peer-reviewed journals and has written (and taught) extensively on the subjects of leadership development, strategic risk management and employee empowerment. . He is extremely passionate about helping people identify and commit to a clear purpose in all they do.
