Dr Alero Ann Roberts
Dr Alero Roberts is a Consultant in Public Health and senior lecturer in Maternal and Child Health at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL).
Dr Roberts has a passion for the teaching and training of undergraduate medical students and postgraduates in the principles and practice of research and evidence-based practice in public health and primary care. She has significant involvement in the enhancement of rural primary care service delivery and in the development of strategies to improve universal access to quality care by mothers and children under five years of age. She has previously been involved in operational research associated with the programmatic deployment of near-patient testing (rapid test kits) for malaria. She continues to support undergraduate and postgraduate research and teaching through the university’s department of community health and primary care.
