About this Conference
The Healthcare Management Conference (HMC) focuses on the business and administration of healthcare. It draws attention to the socio-economic, governance and funding implications of delivering sustainable healthcare systems in developing health economies of West and sub-Saharan Africa. The 2018 edition of the annual conference is themed “Medicine, Accountability and Law”. The conference considers ethical and legal implications of aspects of medical practice in the context of Nigerian law. It discusses wider stakeholder responsibilities and proposes a medico-legal and regulatory framework to support consumer protection, enhanced patient safety standards and service quality excellence on behalf of the general public. The Medicine, Accountability and Law Conference is hosted and organised by BeyHealth Consulting in collaboration with the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL).
